Originally formed on the streets in Toronto, SHOUT! the band began as a group of college friends looking to spend their free time making music with each other, and sharing it with the world. These early sidewalk performances with a handful of horns playing on Queen street quickly exploded as the band grew in both size and popularity, bringing a full 12 piece band to the streets, taking the city by storm and drawing crowds so fierce that major city intersections came to a standstill.
As their reputation continued to grow, the band transitioned from street corners to stages and festivals, playing at venues across Canada, bringing their infectious performances to wider audiences leaving fans captivated in their wake. SHOUT! quickly became notorious for their iconic sound and energy, garnering the attention of major players within the music industry, leading to collaborations and performances with artists such as Anderson .Paak, and Maurice Brown.
SHOUT!’s tight-knit family features some of Canada’s top musicians and artists, who have worked with artists such as J-Cole, Shawn Mendes, Olivia Rodrigo, Colin Linden, Tom “Bones'' Malone (leader of the Blues Brother’s Band), “Blue Lou'' Marini, the Wu-Tang Clan, Freddie Gibbs, and more. The SHOUT! team has also performed on iconic stages and at major festivals across the globe, including shows at History, the Budweiser Stage, and Massey Hall in Toronto, and festivals like the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Coachella and the Newport Jazz Festival.
Despite recent complications during 2020 when the band had initially begun their debut album, SHOUT! Is currently working on a live and studio album to save fans from their bootleg recordings. SHOUT! Continues to perform live all across North America. Pushing boundaries with their earth-shattering walls of sound and energetic, infectious performances.
